Falls sie in 32BIT gerendert haben konvertieren Sie bitte die Bilder erst in 8BIT und fügen Sie sie dann zusammen.
Welcome to our forum, and yes, it is possible to import camera animation from Maya into VRED. You can do this by baking your Camera animation and export your scene as VRML file. Afterwards you can import vrml animations into VRED. In the next version of VRED it will be possible to import all animations, including camera animations via FBX file. Hope that helps

Danke. Roman Schubert

To do this, you need to turn on the display of the LightTransforms group first. Go to Edit->Preferences->Main Window and turn on Show Internal Nodes. Now a group called light transforms shows up in your scene graph. Each Child (Material Group) of this node represents the transformations done to the lightsource. So you can group these Material groups together, move them to another parent (for example to attach headlights to a car) and so on. However, you shouldn´t change the graph below the material group since this will eventually break things, so be carefull (that´s the reason why this group is hidden by default). Hope this helps

Sadly duplicating lightsources doesn´t work at the moment but we are trying to fix this. However there is a workaround for it, although it is not very pretty: You need to delete everything in the scene except the lightsources you want to keep and the light transform group (if it is shown in our scenegraph. By default this groub is hidden). The save the scene to a new file. Reload your old file and add the scene with the light sources you just saved. This should work fine although it will create another light transform group in your scenegraph.

Nice Image :) The only things that bother me are the numberplate ( Audi is not in Munich....) and that the image looks way too sharp, so you have lots of aliasing artefacts (not only on the car, also on the backplate). Did you run a sharpen filter on it in Photoshop? Greetz Michael

Hi Matthias, thanks Yes this is the real model, maybe not the actuall, but its a S5. And yes you are right about some Details i have to worked out in Photoshop. I have tested how fast i can render and finish this work. And i used only approximatelly for shading, organizing,Rendering and Postwork 4-5 hours. And one thing i have to say, this software is really great but to work for Professional Projects i think the limitation of the Rendeoutput is one of the biggest disatvantage Points of t Vred essential. But anyway great Application. S.Cengil www.cengil.com

Hi this is my first Use of Vred Essential and i would know what is the generell Workflow for HDRI Raytracing Lightning. I Know in Vred Photo there is a Enviroment Material to map the enviroment HDR to the Sphere, but in Essential i dont find it or is it not possible to do it in Vred Essential?

cool it works. I thought its enough to only assign the Enviroment to the Car Materials. I dont realize to create a virtual Dome for the Raytracing Mode to make it run correctly. thanks

There is simply the environment missing. In Raytracing Mode, the specular reflections are calculated by really intersecting the scene, unlike the glossy and diffuse terms which may come from the connected environment of the material. So you need to create a sphere or other type of geometry around the scene (in the 4.11 version, you need to flip the normals of the sphere as well, so they point inwards to actually see it when you are looking at your car (GeometryEditor-> under swap normals choose "Face and Vertex"). Apply your environment material to the sphere (there should be just one geometry with an environment material directly visible). If you don´t want to actually see the environment but just have the reflections and so on, create a Renderlayer (Rendering->RenderLayer->Right Mouse Button->Create Layer), drag&drop the sphere onto the new layer, turn of primary visibility and press activate. Hope this helps Michael

Mmhh, hard to tell. What are your material settings? I assume you use either a MetallicPaintMaterial or an UnicolorPaintMaterial? Maybe you have orange peel turned on and made it too intense? The sharp reflections are caused by the clearcoat layer, which should normally have a reflectivity of about 0.04 (means 4%) and a plain white color. Another cause may be unnormalized normals. You can fix these in the geometry editor by selecting the geometrie and clicking normalize. The black chrome may have 2 causes: Either an environment is missing (so there is actually nothing to reflect) or the trace depth (max reflection depth) isn´t high enough.
