Ambient Occlusion gives scenes a higher level of realism due to a close to reality shading of other objects and the self-occlusion of single parts, even in OpenGL mode.
Animation
The Animation Module helps to simulate motion sequences and produce moving images. Animations can be created in real time and in full render quality.
CAD Converter *
The CAD Converter realizes the import of many data formats. It is able to convert NURBS data into polygonal data and to tessellate imported data seamlessly.
Camera
The camera module is the “eye” to three-dimensional space. It offers real setting parameters like focal length, shutter speed, f-stop or depth of field.
GeometryEditor
With the GeometryEditor, data sets can be prepared with several tools, such as for adjusting surface normals.
HDR Lighting
Using HDR lighting, the whole scene is lit up by a high dynamic range picture. This way it is possible to project the lighting situation of a real picture onto 3D space.
ICC Color Profiles
VRED Photo supports the use of many color profiles, such as ICC color profiles.
Lighting
VRED Photo offers different lighting models, such as direct lights or spot- and point lights. If required, basic light sources can be converted to area lights.
